About the design:
Lake Freeman's been part of our family since my great-grandfather, Pop Pop, settled on what's now Tyler Lane. My grandparents then put down roots near Tioga Bridge. I grew up out there too — fishing, family bbqs, watching fireworks from the water, ice cream treats from Dodge Camp and weekends tubing behind the boat. Now my parents are still there, my sister and brother-in-law too. Three generations and counting.
This flag is our love letter to it.
Freeman green comes from the original bridge that used to span the lake, despite those trusses no longer being present - I can still see them every time I cross. The yellow is Susan's Freeman Bay, a cornerstone of a lake day experience. And the blue is for the Madam Carroll, the old lady of the lake herself.
It's not just a flag. It's fireflies at dusk and a boat full of cousins and 100 years memories.
